Before diving in, I would like to share with you the materials that I wish someone had shared with me when I first started my bullet journal journey(tongue twister haha) instead of the overpriced books and markers that the pros always recommend.

Getting these good basics tools will allow you to explore and find out if you like bullet journalling without spending a bomb. Plus, they can last you for quite awhile.

I use this notebook now, which is a good but cheaper(less than half the price) alternative to the popular favourite Leuchtturm1917.
These colorful markers have a broad tip and fine tip that you can use for most of your decorations. My favourite!
These stencils are less than $10 and there are 20pcs of all kinds of shapes that you can play around with. Super fun.

Yup, that’s all you need for a start!

How to draw a bumblebee

Here’s a super easy and cute bee that you can learn to draw straight away!

Step 1: Draw the bee’s body (an oval shape)

Step 2: Add two lines across the body (as shown in the pic)

Step 3: Draw the 2 tiny wings on top of the bee’s body

Step 4: Add a curve for the bee’s eyes and it will look it is smiling!

Step 5: Final step is to colour the bee and off it goes when you add a little dotted line trial behind it!

How to draw a honey bee

Step 1: Draw an oval shape for the body of the bee

Step 2: Draw the wings of the bee

Step 3: Draw 3 curve lines for the stripes on the bee’s body

Step 4: Add the little details on the wings and 4 legs of the bee

Step 5: Draw the antennas of the bee and a smiley face for a happy looking bee!

Step 6: Lastly, colour the bee and add a dotted trail behind it to make it look like a flying bee 🙂
